A series of bicycle rides make loops through Bastrop State Park and the scenic countryside. Sag wagons provide support for this all ages event. |

Bastrop Yesterfest, Last Satuday |
This annual event celebrates Bastrop's colorful history wiht music and dance, pioneer skills demonstrations, "shoot-outs", cowboy roping, carriage rides, a petting zoo and children's games. |

Pet and Pal Parade |
Perhaps the most unique parade in Bastrop County, pets of all types dressed in patriotic colors have the opportunity to strut down Main Street on the first Saturday in July |

Bastrop Patriotic Festival |
First Friday or Saturday. The afternon begins with children's activities, picnics and food booths in Fisherman's Park. The day ends with a fireworks display and music by the Austin Symphonic Band |

Bastrop Homecoming and Rodeo |
First Weekend at Mayfest Park. Join the fun at Bastrop'a biggest annual party as classmates return for reunions plus a parade on Main Street, a rip-snorting rodeo, carnival rides and dancing 'til the wee hours. |

Bastrop NatureFest |
Third Saturday. Celebrate our river at this annual event in Fisherman's Park near downtown. Attendees learn about nature and wildlife plus enjoy food and music or paddling the three designated river trails. |

Camp Swift Oktoberfest and Volksmarch |
Mid October. Bring the family for a full day of fun including a 5K and 10K Volksmarch plus dramatic reenactments fo major war events. There are also demonstrations fo military exercises. Enjoy food and music with lots of activities designed especially for children. |

Halloween Night. Bring the family for lots of tricks and treats plus costume contests, pumpkin carving and a spook house that is sure to thrill the whole family! |

Bastrop Veteran's Day Celebration and Classic Car Show |
Second Saturday. Veterans are honored with a special Tribute. Hundreds of classic cars line the streets downtown, along with local vendors selling food and handmade items. On Sunday, the Rotary Club of Bastrop County sponsors a Road Rally. |

Bastrop's River of Lights |
Extends from Friday following Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve. Stroll along the June Pape Riverwalk on the Colorado River to see over 100 holiday displays. |
